We specialize in local Guyanese pastries, custom cakes, cupcakes, dessert boxes, and signature seasonal treats. Our recipes are infused with love, tradition, and a little Caribbean flair — all prepared by a dedicated team committed to excellence, beauty, and over-the-top customer care.

Our Story – From Our Oven to Your Celebration
Melody Treats began in a small kitchen with a big dream. What started as one woman’s passion for baking and celebration quickly grew into a full-fledged family business — serving hundreds of customers each week with the same care and attention as day one.
Founded by Priscilla and Shaurwayne Blackman, Melody Treats was born from the desire to create a business that could support her growing family. With a hand mixer, a few pans, not having a clue what to do, she leaped forward with big faith, she baked her set of mini cupcakes for friends, workplace and her family — and never looked back.
Over the years, Melody Treats expanded from our oven in a bedroom because our space was so tiny to a production kitchen to multiple branches across Guyana. We’ve navigated challenges (including a global pandemic, floods, and construction setbacks) — but with every obstacle, we’ve remained committed to serving you better.
Today, Melody Treats is more than just a bakery. It’s a trusted name in celebration — known for quality, creativity, consistency, and heart.
Because at the end of the day, we don’t just make cakes — we create memories.

At the core of Melody Treats is a husband-and-wife team whose strengths balance like the perfect cake — one adds the flavour, the other ensures it rises.
Priscilla Blackman, our Founder and Creative Director, is a baker, storyteller, and entrepreneur whose love for celebration runs deep. With a passion for people, excellence, and aesthetics, she turned her kitchen creations into a beloved brand that now serves communities across Guyana. Priscilla is not only the hands behind the cakes but the heart behind the vision — bringing joy, beauty, and grace to every corner of the business.
Alongside her is Mr. Blackman — a seasoned businessman with decades of self-taught expertise in retail, telecommunications, marketing, and high-conversion sales. He is the strategic mind and steady hand behind the growth of Melody Treats, ensuring that every decision is bold, calculated, and future-focused. His leadership and entrepreneurial drive continue to push the business beyond borders, acting as a beacon as Melody Treats forges its way into the hearts of Caribbean nations and beyond.
Together, the Blackmans have built more than a business — they’ve built a movement of celebration, anchored in faith, family, and a fierce love for their country.
